Visitation Training Meetings signal the start of Wave 2

Called to Renew is hosting a series of Visitation Training Meetings for Wave 2 parish leaders to attend. During these meetings, the Campaign Office presents best practices for hosting personal visits. By bringing parish leadership together in groups, we hope to create camaraderie among Wave 2 parishes as well as encourage a larger conversation around the campaign and the value of personal visits.

Campaign Executive Director Jillian Whiting, Associate Executive Director Martin Camacho, and Parish Campaign Director Victor Vasquez have led the meetings to date. Attendees were briefed on how to introduce parishioners to the Called to Renew campaign, conduct their personal visits, and schedule follow-up meetings.

The first session was hosted by Fr. Michael C. Rocha at St. Paschal Baylon in Thousand Oaks. The second session was hosted by Fr. Ramon G. Valera at St. John the Baptist De La Salle in Granada Hills. We are happy to announce that from these two meetings, 40 leaders have been oriented and trained!

A special thanks to Fr. Michael and Fr. Ramon for offering their parish spaces to host the Visitation Training Meetings!
