U-he HIVE 2 | 432Hz Tuning Tip

HIVE 2 Can Be Re-tuned To 432Hz.

To celebrate his entry into the 21st century, Prince participated in a 3 hour Facebook Q&A. Over 4000 questions were asked. Out of all the questions Prince chose to answer only one of those questions. A participant named Emmanuel asked Prince to address the importance of all music being tuned to 432hz. Prince replied with just 3 words "The Gold Standard".  Instead of the 440Hz standard, tuning A4 to 432Hz has become increasingly popular over the years, especially in PsyTrance. To re-tune Hive to 432Hz, set FINE TUNE to precisely -31.76 (using SHIFT), then right-click on that knob and lock it.

Reveal Sound Spire | Extra Filter Trick

Turn The Delay Section Into A Bonus Filter!

Did you know you could turn the delay section of SPIRE into an extra filter? First, de-select Ping Pong mode and take off Sync. Pull down the Rate Feedback knob all the way to the left and turn the Width Knob up all the way up to the right.  Lastly make sure the Dry/Wet Knob is all the way up to 100% Wet. The Color Knob now works as an extra filter to further shape your sound before it hits the final EQ & Compressor.
