Funeral Notice: Dr Reginald Matthews
It is with great sadness that we inform you that Dr Reginald (Reg) Matthews died last week following a short illness aged 98. He had only gone into care around 18 months ago and had remained mentally sharp until a week or so before his death following a stroke.
A funeral service will be at on Saturday June 15th, 2:30 pm The Wilson Chapel, Springvale Botanical Cemetry.

Reg was a committed educator at the University of Melbourne for more than 30 years. He was also a friend and colleague of one of the GSA's founding members Dr Sturmfels. A memorial will appear in a later edition of "The Victorian Geologist" to celebrate his life in geology.
