Trondheim international biennale for art and technology. 
On March 5 Meta.Morf celebrates its 10th anniversary!

Meta.Morf X – Digital Wild leaves the established narratives behind – instead bending and twisting our illusions about digital futures. The purposes of new technologies become twisted, and the obvious challenged. The rationale gets blurry, and we start to see the fascinating contour of a wild future we may be a part of. Outside of the accustomed perceptions, things quickly get wild and surreal – and kinky.

OPEN CALL: DIGITAL WILD – CONFERENCE

Meta.Morf invites artists, researchers, and experts that explore the realm of the “Digital Wilderness” as outlined in the biennale statement (http://metamorf.no/digital-wild) to participate at the opening conference of the 2020 Trondheim international biennale for art and technology, Meta.Morf X – Digital Wild.

We are seeking presentations that can take place during the “Digital Wild” two day conference on March 6 and 7, 2020. Meta.Morf covers a participation fee, as well as travel and accommodation expenses during the conference.

OPEN CALL: DIGITAL WILD – EXHIBITION

Meta.Morf invites artists that explore the realm of the “Digital Wilderness” as outlined in the biennale statement (http://metamorf.no/digital-wild) to exhibit at the 2020 Trondheim international biennale for art and technology, Meta.Morf X – Digital Wild.

We are seeking artworks and projects to be exhibited at the “Digital Wild” group exhibition taking place from March 5 – May 3, 2020. Artworks need to be shipped to Trondheim by mid February 2020 and will be returned by mid May.

Meta.Morf covers fee, freight, travel and accommodation expenses during the setup of the work/installation.

TEMPORARY LIBRARY OF NORWEGIAN MEDIA ART

DEADLINE: September 1, 2019
 

TEKS (Trondheim Electronic Arts Centre) is launching an open call for the second edition of the Temporary Library of Norwegian Media Art (TL:NO)

TEMPORARY LIBRARY OF NORWEGIAN MEDIA ART 
TL:NO is an archival collection currently consisting of 100+ printed publications that represent the Norwegian media art field. The collection forms the most comprehensive knowledge and documentation of the field in terms of history, artistic activities, and artists. The project is produced and developed by TEKS – Trondheim Electronic Arts Centre. The first edition was initiated by Alessandro Ludovico and produced in collaboration with Stahl Stenslie and Zane Cerpina. 

The second edition of TL:NO will be launched during the FAEN (Female Artistic Experiments Norway) exhibition and symposium program at Atelier Nord, Oslo, October 2019. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED
All publications must be published in Norway or belong to a specified Norwegian media art project that is performed/produced in Norway, made by a Norwegian based artist, or dealing specifically with the Norwegian media art scene. It can be books, pamphlets, magazines, journals, art catalogs, etc. Read more about the curatorial statement on www.temporarylibrary.no.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE
If you would like to contribute to the second edition of TL:NO, please send us one or two (preferably two if possible) physical copies of the publication by the 1st of September, 2019. 
As a general rule we cannot reimburse your postal expenses or other expenses for obtaining publications, but please contact us if that prevents you from donating.
