Coding for Kids
Coding for Kids returns this summer! Tuesdays from 1-2 pm with the help of our staff, kids will explore different aspects of computer coding. Suitable for kids ages 8-13.
Wacky Wednesdays!
Wednesday afternoons from 1-2:30 we’ve got some exciting adventures for kid’s ages 5-12. These programs require pre-registration and have a limit of 20 kids, so sign up soon!

Paws 4 Stories
The St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs are back! Thursday afternoons from 1-2:30 pm in July and August come by to snuggle up and read with a pooch. Each session lasts 15 minutes per child. Pre-register today to secure your spot!

Friday Funday Storytime
All throughout the summer we’ll be having a special themed storytime every Friday morning at 10 am. From Monster Mania to Let’s Get Munschy, every Friday will be full of fun- and don’t forget to grab a take-home craft at the end! This is a drop-in program open to everyone!

Art Workshop with Bev Morgan
Local artist Bev Morgan will be running a workshop for kids ages 8-12 on
Monday July 15 and Monday July 22 from 1-2:30. Kids will explore different techniques with a variety of materials. The cost is $20 per child and all materials will be provided. Spots are limited so sign up now!
Creature Quest @ the Civic Theatre
Get up close and personal with a variety of domestic and exotic animals from around the globe. Learn interesting and sometimes hilarious or gross information about these amazing animal ambassadors!
Date: Wednesday August 7th | 2pm

Tickets: $3/person and available for purchase at the library!

Storytime Under the Stars Get into your PJ’s, grab your favourite stuffy and join us at Heritage Square for a bedtime story with Stephanie! Thursday July 25 at 6:30pm
Storytime Tent in the KidsZone on Saturday July 27 from 11 – 4 we will have songs and stories going on throughout the day. We will also have a quiet area for kids to relax and cool down with a book and something to drink
