Incentives requested for McEwen's expansion, new South Main dog park

McEwen’s partners John and Adrienne Littlefield and Bert and Shantih Smythe are planning to transform the four attached historic buildings at 118-124 Monroe Ave. into “124 Newsroom.”

The ground-floor restaurant will be renovated to include a new kitchen and an additional dining room space in the westernmost bay. Read more>>

“The core of Downtown is booming with development,” Orgel said in a June 6 interview. “South Main is booming with development. Everything from population to the amount of restaurants, amount of retail, to the new office tenants we have coming Downtown. The real estate prices are rising. We need to complete the full Downtown on the north side. … The Uptown area is ripe for development — and good development, mixed-use [that is] good for everybody.” Read more>>
