Join our mission for a sustainable future of mobility on and between sea and land!

Waste, pollution and inefficiency still characterize too much of what is going on in the marine and land-based transport sector today. Something needs to change.

Do you work in the intersection between land-based and ocean industries and are looking to challenge status quo? Then join our NOK 8 million Nordic Innovation Mobility Mission: Sea Meets Land. The mission is:

"Decarbonising Nordic ports, transport of people and goods – on and between sea and land."

We will publish the rules and criteria for the competition 26 August 2019 with a deadline for applications 15 November 2019. Start planning now and join our mission for a sustainable future!

The Nordic Scalers take Helsinki

Last week the fourth and final batch of Nordic Scalers had their last session. To celebrate the end of the two-year pilot, which ran from 2017 to 2019, and the scale-ups participating, Nordic Innovation invited the four Nordic Scalers batches to the very first Nordic Scalers alumni dinner in Helsinki in conjunction with Nordic Scale-up Summit 2019 and Arctic15.

The dinner was held to kick-start the alumni network, where Nordic scale-ups can continue to learn from each other’s experiences, successes and failures.

This was also the scale-up-companies first chance at meeting the program advisory board, and for the advisory board to hear first-hand how and if the program had an impact.

Circular Business Models in the Nordic Manufacturing Industry launched at WCEF2019

Nordic Innovation wants to take the circular economy from strategy to business. With this project together with Sitra, we are looking to engage this important and traditional industry in the circular transformation in the Nordics. The project will enable the creation of unique Nordic value chains, competence building in ecosystems, and collaboration between Nordic companies.
