The group also visited Germeli village for the second time. It is the second largest Kutia village in the area. There are about 60 houses in Germeli. NBGMI church planter, Rajish, has been sharing the Gospel here for a few weeks. God blessed his efforts during this visit with one new believer! Shanti Majhi is an educated member of this village. This dedicated group of NBGMI team members also made a first time visit to the most remote village in the area. Dauwali village is totally disconnected with other villages and people. No one every comes to this place on purpose. The village members are completely isolated from the rest of the area. The NBGMI team wanted to inquire about the well-being and livelihood of the villagers. According to Lamboi, "When we entered the village, the people wondered about us. Were we a threat to their community? But we assured them we brought Good News for all and medicine for those who are sick. Then they gladly welcomed us." Soon we asked if they had ever heard about Jesus. They answered, "No, never!" So we started sharing from creation, the fall of men in sin and redemption in Jesus - for almost three hours! There were three men and two older women who listened carefully to us. But one man got angry and wanted to cause us harm. By God's grace no violence took place and we were able to leave them peacefully. Please pray for the seeds we sowed this day." See photos below.

Gospel of John Translated in
Kutia Language!
PRAISE GOD! Lamboi & Kisantto have worked for two years on this project. Now two handwritten copies of the Gospel of John will be taken into the Kutia villages and read to the people. This will be the final stage of proofreading the book before trying to get it published. It is important that Kutia dialect is accurate and understandable among the Kutia people. PRAISE GOD! See close-up of John 3:16 below.

First time in our mission history! This woman brought her daughter to our Church who is about 4-5 months old, and she asked us to name the baby. So after thinking a while we gave her a name from the NT called, "Talitha Majhi" then I lay hands and pray for the baby girl. So this child became the first ever Kutia child whose name is taken from the Bible. Glory be to God!
Name of baby parents:
Father: Madhuka Majhi
Mother: Onita Majhi
Village: M. Tarlangi
Date: 5/5/19
