Ask me how we're doing!

Around the time of summer solstice farm work gets intense. We have lots of delicious crops coming in now. Thank you all for your support visiting us at our farm market here at 2351 Glade and joining our Farm Share which makes it all worthwhile!

We’re bringing things full circle in the final Kids in the Dirt session of the season on Seed Saving. We’ll learn about plants’ life cycles and explore how different plants reproduce. We’ll collect flowering plants in the field and cut up fruiting vegetables to clean and save seeds. We’ll enjoy a seed-focused snack to follow.

Bring your young chef’s epicurean enthusiasm back to the source of the ingredients: land, soil, seeds, animals, plants and more. Campers will explore how to grow and cook a farm-fresh meal from the ground up using ingredients that are in season and grown here on our working farm. After getting their hands dirty, kids will wash up and commence cooking. This camp is a fun way to develop social skills, teamwork, expand your child’s palate, and their love of the outdoors.
