Healing through Horses
Lindsay McKinnon with her boys: Patrick Carlyle McKinnon, 10 and Logan Hayes McKinnon, 5

In Fields with Horses by Lindsay McKinnon
Roanoke, VA

They say that horses are clairvoyant.
Several years ago, I lost my home, all of my belongings, and my two children in a deadly house fire. This article is not about that. As a part of my healing process, I participated in an equine horse therapy program. My time at the stables was not about riding horses. It was about connecting and allowing our own process to percolate, using the horses as mirror images of ourselves. They became
representations of other events, people, experiences and concepts in our lives. It seemed to be a back door, metaphorical approach to accessing the deeper parts of ourselves that are seldom seen by others.

One horse, in particular, caught my attention as she was very anxious and pacing the edge of the fence line, desperately wanting to be on the outside of the fence. This horse reminded me of Patrick, my oldest son, and all I wanted to do was help it calm down, settle back into its body, and get grounded. I wanted to help ease the anxiety and do what I could to bring it Peace. As I stood near the horse it continued to pace back and forth. I could tell it didnʼt want me there. Twice it circled me. I just stood there feeling into its heart and speaking to her from my heart. No words, just presence.

Eventually, the horse slowed down but continued pacing. It was breathing deeper, and itʼs head hung lower. It gradually closed its gate, and then, dropped to its knees and laid in the grass on its side, head, and neck upright. I gasped as I watched her do this. I clenched my chest and started crying, as I had never had such a big and gorgeous creature lay down in front of me like that, and of course, I was thinking of my Boys. Inch by inch and trailing tears, I crawled on my hands and knees until I reached her. She allowed me to touch her hoof, her leg, her neck, and her head. I swiped the hair from her third eye and massaged her ears. As her brown eyes searched mine, she laid her head down into the grass. So, I did too. I slid my arm out and laid down on my side next to this beautiful, magical creature.

Her gaze completely pulled me into hers and there was this moment that I can not describe as anything other than otherworldly. She became a gateway between me and my Boys; for a moment, an enchanting, Divine and powerful moment, I could feel them with me. I was holding them energetically while we laid in the grass together. I wanted to stay in that moment forever. When it was over, it was over... but not really.

I'm not really sure what happened between me and this mystical creature, but I know it was special. I will continue to process it for the rest of my life. I was completely spaced out and totally discombobulated for the rest of that day. I couldnʼt form sentences to communicate thoughts. That kind of aloofness happens when we have spiritual experiences that take us outside of what we have already known. Memory and speech is a functional process related to the left hemispheres of our brains. It is associated with our linear and rational thinking minds. Experiences such as the one I had with this horse, opened and expanded my way of thinking, feeling, and being. The horse raised my vibration and opened a portal beyond linear and feelings and sensations. I wish I could live in that spot. I had an amazing and unique experience. But it was not just about me. It was not even about me and this beautiful horse. There were several other amazing and courageous women standing in that field with me, and several other beautiful horses. Each one peeling back the layers of rational thought and allowing themselves to feel the space inside of nature, to be in Communion with it all. Common. Union.

Together as a Community, we have the opportunity to lean into one another in the heart of seldom-seen transparency. Do you have the courage to share that with others? We can be in that field together and honor ALL of it. When I heal, you heal. When you heal, I heal. This is true of those who gather with horses. This is true of you, and this is true of me.

They say that horses are hypersensitive and clairvoyant, and I am so grateful they are. To be in their presence, to be fully seen by them and to be so taken in by them... I am on-my-knees raw with gratitude.

-Always, and in All Ways, Lindsay

Dr. Mark Pitstick and his book 'SoulProof'

Evolved Souls Don’t Need Long Earthly Lives
June 2019
by Mark Pitstick, MA, DC

To all parents, I am very sorry about the physical death of your child.  However, I am glad you are open to learning how to heal and transform.  Six key understandings to making that shift are:

1. Your child is alive and well in another phase of forever.

2. Only his physical body died.  Everything else continues eternally: all the love, light, energy, humor, personality, memory, energetic and subtle bodies, and much more.  Really knowing this allows you to journey from seeing yourself as a bereaved to a shining light parent

3. She is happy, peaceful, and enthusiastic – and wants you to be that way now.

4. You will see her when you pass on and can enjoy relationships with her now.

5. You can choose to transmute your grief into a spiritually transformative experience that powerfully improves your life and blesses others.

6. You can heal and increase the gifts from his life by lovingly serving others

Many parents have realized this great news and are living happy and fulfilling lives again.  You can do the same.  It’s not easy and doesn’t happen overnight, but it is possible with small steps day by day.  Here are five action steps . . .

  1. Attend local and online Helping Parents Heal (HPH) meetings
  2. Call The Caring Listeners to talk at no charge.
  3. Read relevant Foundational Articles for Healing & Transforming on SoulProof.com and take action steps
  4. Listen to my free Radio Shows and our answers to life’s toughest questions including why children die.
  5. Lean on others then later, when you are doing better, pay it forward.
After Death Communications (ADCs) are a huge source of hope, peace, and inspiration for bereaved parents who are journeying to become shining light parents.  ADCs are defined as a meaningful perception, while awake or dreaming, of a postmaterial (‘deceased’) loved one.  About 30% of the general public reports having one or more ADCs but for bereaved parents, that number swells to at least 75%.  As discussed in my book Soul Proof, shared and evidentiary ADCs contain validation aspects that suggest the perceptions are more than your imagination.

I’ve heard many ADCs over the past 30 years and have experienced a few myself.  Cherra, whose son Garrett passed on just three months ago, shared a profound and amazing ADC.  I hope her experience will help you more deeply know that bodily death is not a ‘good-bye’ – just a ‘see you later.’  Here is her story that she generously allowed me to share.

In 2011, she became very interested in consciousness and afterlife topics.  This knowledge was a true life-saver when her son passed on March 5, 2019.  On March 11, she called the office of Dr. Gary Schwartz to learn more about his ‘spirit’ communication technology research.  One way I help Gary is to save him time, so I called Cherra a few days later.  We exchanged several emails in which I shared resources such as article #2 at SoulProof.com for helping her heal and transform.  From my newsletter, she learned about my Florida presentation on May 30.

She was considering flying from AZ to FL for a two-hour presentation and on May 6th emailed a potential AirBNB host.  The host inquired about the presentation Cherra was attending.  Here is an abbreviated version of her answer: ‘It’s an unveiling of research being done at the University of Arizona on the SoulPhone.  Dr. Gary Schwartz is as important to the evolution of human consciousness studies as the Wright Brothers first flight was for what we take for granted in modern day airlines.”

That night, Cherra went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night.  She felt something on her foot but went back to sleep and didn't investigate.  In the morning, she reached down and found a quarter on her foot.  Cherra looked at it and saw it commemorated the Wright Brothers flight.  She cried and laughed and knew it was from her son, especially since they collected coins together when he was young.  She also took it as a sign to attend my talk. Here is a photo of the quarter (and of Cherra):
Cherra is still understandably in a lot of pain and shock, but she credits her study of afterlife evidence and this ADC with helping her survive.  I find her experience to be a powerful example of how your children can orchestrate detailed events that make a difference.  Like Demi Moore’s character in the movie Ghost after seeing a penny floating in the air, these ADCs can help you have a breakthrough instead of a breakdown.

A few takeaways from this story are that she:
  1. reached out for help very soon after her son’s graduation.
  2. connected the dots in her ADC and took action steps.
  3. shared her story with others instead of considering it coincidental or kooky.
  4. is attending HPH groups, and getting wise counsel and help from others who have walked a similar path.

I hope that all readers get more signs that your ‘departed’ loved ones are truly alive, well, and want to continue a relationship now and always.

University-based scientific research has definitively demonstrated that life continues after bodily death.  How might this news change the way you live and treat yourself and others?

Fellowship and Coincidences
Kristine and Ernie Jackson

Ten Years Later

For five days I had been running, trying to be strong for others, trying to coordinate and trying not to let it get me.  On the phone constantly, pacing the halls while on crutches; anybody who scowled at me, I scowled back. If anybody looked beyond that scowl and deeper into my eyes, they saw the hurt, disbelief, and shock.  On the 5th day, the new reality began to sink in.  It caught up to me and touched me.  I really do not like going back to this place, even now ten years later remembering in the days immediately following Quinton’s transition.  It is Quinton’s ten-year angelversary and I remember the immensity of that heavy cloak.

On the fifth day after his transition, lying curled up in a corner, despair wrapped itself around me.  “Where is Quinton?’” I wondered, and I imagined him alone somewhere in the darkness.  This stifling vision gripped me; I had no religion or faith.  I knew not that life continues and is endless; I was a blank slate and I was now ready for something.  A close friend burst into the room.  Was she excited or agitated, none of us there knew and we began to despair anew until she spoke.

I still remember the heaviness in the room, now ten years later, as she began to speak and we thought – “What next?” She said in a breathless voice as if she had been running, “I can only tell this once” as she urged us to gather.  She began in earnest, telling us a Native American Medicine Man in full dress came to her in the lobby of the Marriot Courtyard.  He grasped her hands and looked deeply into her eyes and said, “I have just finished performing a ceremony.  A little boy sent me to find you.  He wants you to know he is fine and Tom is helping him with his transition.”  With this, a new door cracked opened.

The energy in the room changed, immediately.  The somber expressions were replaced with gasps of surprise, joy, and even smiles as something more was revealed.  All of this happened in a heartbeat and all of it before our minds had a chance to question any of it.  Within my gasp came the realization that Quinton lives… and the question, “Why didn’t I know the human experience worked this way?”

Since then, there have been signs from Quinton that are too numerous to count.  With the passage of time comes a discernment and acknowledgment of his quiet voice.  I desperately want to share this knowledge with you; we desperately want to share the knowledge – all of our loved ones who have transitioned are quite alive in the spirit realm, but how best to share this information?  How can we help you when you are in the throes of your grief?  At some point, the words on this page are just that, words without meaning.

Within a few short months, as I began to share the amazing and wondrous that Quinton was showing us, I promised myself to not pretend to be an authority on the topic of what our loved ones do after shedding their earthly bodies, instead speaking to a broader message of “Know There is More” and those around me to conduct their own research.  Through the years, I have honored this promise, but within this journey of experience, speaking with others and reading books by experts who have performed the research, adding my own take.

I understand we all get to go; we all shed our earthly bodies and go home no matter how we lived or how we transitioned.  I feel the pain and have heard the dogma associated with those who transition by suicide; they also go home.  While I cannot speak to their thoughts and what their journey looks like on the other side, I can invite you to read books by authors like Michael Newton, Brian Weiss, and James Van Praagh; especially Michael Newton.  While I don’t really understand the concept of Karmic Debt, I invite you to read up on it yourself; perhaps you can explain to me how the concept factors into our time here – in this latest version of ‘us’.  Through it all though, I am reminded of the greatest of spiritual teachers in our history who implore us to Love One Another (even our enemies), to Forgive (especially if it is ourselves) and to Not Judge Others (even the face in the mirror).  With these three principles in mind, it is easier to navigate the waters of the human experience.

Ten years have passed and amidst the swirling drama, the Peace I seek is at hand.  All I want for you is to have the same.

I wish you all the best and feel free to contact me if you have questions.  Dialogue is good.  We are both teacher and student, each of us.

God Bless and Namaste, Ernie and Kristine, Quinton’s Dad and Mom

NEW AFFILIATE LEADER!  Helping Parents Heal - Raleigh

Shannon McDonald and Kimberly Whitehead

Kimberly Whitehead will be joining Shannon McDonald as a Co-Affiliate Leader in Raleigh.

About Kimberly Whitehead:

I'm Kimberly Whitehead, and my daughter, Jasmine gained her wings, Friday, September 21st, 2012.  She was 18 years old when she died of a massive heart attack.  She was autistic, she had epilepsy and asthma.  Her life had been filled with many struggles and she had overcome so many of them. Her life also bought joy and inspiration to numerous people.

Death didn't stop us from communicating with each other or loving each other.  I know she is still with me and other loved ones.  This is the toughest journey I have ever taken.   It comes with a broken heart and a need to fight to go on is mandatory.   Helping other parents through this journey of healing is something that I feel a calling to do as this road isn't often talked about it's something most people have dealt with in silence.  The key to overcoming most things in life is communication. If I can help other parents, it will be a blessing.

Helping Fathers Heal - Online Group

Dylan and Mike Edwards

Since February 16th, our Helping Fathers Heal “ affiliate group has grown to 67 members from 6 countries (United States, Brazil, Chile, Canada, Australia, and India). Our “closed” group has weekly online meetings every Wednesday from 8-9 p.m. (Central Standard Time) to provide numerous opportunities every month for fathers to join in. The meetings mostly consist of informal discussions but have included wonderful guest speakers/authors/mediums like Ernie Jackson, Jake Samoyedny, Mark Ireland and Isabella Johnson!

Like me, most men struggle to “put themselves out there” by posting on Facebook and/or showing up for meetings because it’s uncomfortable to express feelings and show vulnerability. Sharing is always optional so the meetings are a great opportunity for fathers to “take the best and leave the rest”. Ironically, sharing and supporting other men is what benefits all of us most because all of our situations are different but also the same in many ways.

As expected, spouses are our best recruiters so if any of this resonates with you, please send your father to our Helping Fathers Heal link to join!

https://www.facebook.com/groups/HelpingFathersHeal/

I can also be reached at the following to answer any questions, including guidance about how to use ZOOM!

Helping Parents Heal - Parents of Children with Special Needs

Lisa with her sons, Anthony and Michael, Elizabeth Boisson

May 22, 2019, HPH Parents of Children with Special Needs invited everyone in Helping Parents Heal to join us on Zoom as we welcomed the brilliantly Shining Light Parent, Elizabeth Veney-Boisson, as our guest speaker. As co-founder of this worldwide organization, Elizabeth and her two beautiful children in spirit, Morgan, and Chelsea, have touched all of us. With the most open heart, Elizabeth shared very personal aspects of her life with us I have not yet heard, giving more insight to her and her family’s journey before and after the transition of both children. Although facing a computer screen, I felt such intimacy and love arise from her opening story it was as if every one of us in the meeting then met in a secret clubhouse in a beautiful tree in the clouds. We all took turns, and as if prompted by Morgan, Chelsea, and all the children, told secret clubhouse stories of our children and if we, or they, ‘knew’ about their transition. When I say ‘secret,’ I mean the kind of story you tell only those you know will hold that piece of your heart gently and also know the amazing treasure the secret contains! Although, once we know the secret, we want to tell the WORLD, right Elizabeth?

Our children are with us and love us very much, and as Elizabeth always says, they want us to be happy! I cannot say how grateful I am for Elizabeth’s dedication to every one of us, and mostly, every one of our children. She is an amazing Shining Light Parent, and truly a gift to this world. Thank you to all who joined us.

Our next HPH Parents of Special Needs Children meeting will be held on June 26, 2019, 8:30 pm EDT, 5:30 pm Arizona/PDT, via Zoom. Please click
here to RSVP or learn more!  We enjoyed speaking about our children so much during Elizabeth’s meeting, we will again share our beautiful stories, questions, support, and love.

The Online Group welcomed Debra Martin on June 12th

Debra Martin

Debra's natural gift of clairvoyance first occurred when she was an adolescent. Though Debra certainly did not comprehend the magnitude of her gift, her ability to communicate with the spirit world was evolving. Once an adult, and with the encouragement of researchers Drs. Julie Beischel and Gary Schwartz, Debra emerged as a much- respected Medium.

Always following her kind, loving intention, Debra began sharing this gift with others, relaying messages from loved ones who have crossed over. Debra soon discovered that channeling these messages from the deceased with those that were left behind assisted in the healing process, giving a sense of peace and comfort.

Debra has had three near-death experiences which she shared with us in addition to speaking about her mediumship. Please click

Helping Parents Heal - Mississippi Gulf Coast
Donna Tasker and her Grandchildren

We had our first HPH affiliate meeting on June 2nd for the Mississippi Gulf Coast with 11 in attendance. I asked Dustin to help me as I didn't want to challenge anyone's belief system with regards to the afterlife. It appears we managed to do this!

After an opening, I played the 5 minute Fox news clip of Elizabeth Boisson and Susanne Wilson as I felt it would lay the groundwork for what HPH is all about. I also read a post (anonymously) from an HPH mother's post in our Facebook group that began with "They're not gone ..." as I felt that post illustrated her walk into the light. I explained the origin and meaning of 'Shining Light parent'.

We passed a rose heart crystal (healing stone) around for attendees to share about their child, with the expectation that parents could pass the heart without sharing. All but one couple shared. In attendance were the aunt and uncle of a young man who transitioned about a month ago and a mother whose son transitioned 10 days ago. During the sharing, 3 of us had a connection to March 21st, which led to a short discussion on signs and synchronicities.

In closing, I used the idea in the Affiliate Handbook about asking parents to share one thing they were grateful for, which worked wonderfully.💖💖

-Love and Light, Donna Tasker, Affiliate Leader of Helping Parents Heal - Mississippi Gulf Coast

Helping Parents Heal - Online Meditation Group

David and Allison Alison with their son Davey

Please join us to spread healing energy to our friends and loved ones. This is an opportunity for Shining Light Parents of HPH to come together as a group with our children on the other side to send healing, loving energy through meditation for those in need. We have done three mediations since we began and spread loving energy to over fifty people. Lynne McTaggart in her book “The Power of Eight” found through her ten years of experimenting with small and large groups about how the power of group intention can heal lives and change the world for the better Join us the third Wednesday of each month at 9 pm eastern standard time. Please become a member of the group and be a part of this positive energy. Also, if you know of someone who is suffering physically or mentally and needs some loving energy please post their names in the group, so we can put them on that monthly meditation group.

Helping Parents Heal - Binghamton, NY
Rosanne Norris

Our first meeting went well on June 3rd. We had 5 moms all with sons in spirit. The range of their passing was from 3 months to 7 years.

I showed Irene Vouvalides interview so that parents could understand the origin of the group. I explained my ideas for the group and encouraged all of the parents to join the main FB group and to go to the website.

It’s interesting that three of the moms claimed to be more science-brained skeptics and almost didn’t come because they didn’t want to sit around listening to everyone’s sad stories but said in the end that it wasn’t that way. We talked about the signs and synchronicities that we’ve had.  Overall it was a good evening.

-Rosanne Norris, our Binghamton Affiliate Leader

Helping Parents Heal - Chicago
Suzanne Giesemann

At our May meeting, we had 35 attendees at our first online meeting for HPH-Chicago Affiliate. This was a special event with Suzanne Giesemann who donated her time to be with us for 1.5-hour gathering. After sharing information about her spiritual journey, how to enhance connections with our loved ones and answering questions, Suzanne connected with children of two members at the online meeting.

Thank you again to Lisa Berghoff for making this session with Suzanne possible.  And thank you to Suzanne Giesemann !!!!!

Blessings to all, Alicia

Helping Parents Heal - Tampa

Marla Grant, Amy Diehl and her son Chris and Cathy Zimmerman

HPH Tampa had a wonderful meeting on May 29th - one of our bi-monthly parents only meetings where we tap into the wisdom of those on the same path with us. We love the intuitive gifts of our presenters and mediums but know that there is much inspiration to be gained from each other too.

Prior to the meeting, Amy, Cathy and I took a cue from a post we saw some time ago by Susan Lynch (thank you, Susan!) and we created a deck of 24 Thoughtful Inquiry cards. We began the meeting with a 5-minute breath meditation then passed the deck of cards and as each parent's turn came, we drew a question and shared our thoughts. Each had the option of drawing a different card if they needed to, or to skip the card altogether and just share something else. All 14 of us had a chance to speak from the heart, from poetry to Sufi wisdom to difficulties, triumphs, and tools. It was very successful and I'm sure we'll do it again.

Peace and love to all and thank you for your shared wisdom on this journey.

Helping Parents Heal - Kingston, MA
Scott and Teresa Lally

At our May meeting, we all enjoyed a session of the physical mediumship technique of table tipping. It was a small group, so everyone got plenty of time to connect with and get messages from our kids.

Helping Parents Heal - Cave Creek
Tony and Carol Allen and the wonderful parents of Carol's Cave Creek Affiliate Group

Our June meeting was fabulous. A new parent attended whose son gained his wings only a few weeks ago. She told me when she left how comforted she felt. We also had two siblings who attended the meeting at my home for the first time; Alix Boisson and Kailee Savoie. They were so helpful to our newly bereaved mom when she expressed concern regarding her surviving children. Gina Zoulek brought the orange teddy bear that was created from her son Zach’s shirt.

If you look at the above picture, you can see the beautiful orb around the bear and then a second orb around the first orb. My son Tyler and Gina’s son Zach are very close friends and both passed on their motorcycles. I believe they were there together. My husband recently had shoulder surgery and I said I think Tyler’s light was shining in his shoulder to help him heal. Tony has had very little pain since his surgery. ❤️❤️😇

Stories of Validation-

Cynthia LoFaso's validation from her Daughter, Rachel
Rachel LoFaso and Jake Samoyedny

I have always felt very fortunate to live near Lily Dale, NY. I've gone to the Lily Dale Assembly Spiritualist community for countless visits and readings for most of my adult life before my daughter passed and twice since. My father grew up a mile from the gates, so this place has always held intrigue and fascination for me, along with a bit of nostalgia. Anyway....today I went for another visit and had the absolute pleasure of having a reading with Jake Samoyedny. I brought a friend with me (also a bereaved parent) who had never been to a medium. Jake was amazing! He was very patient, took the time to explain to us how he works, instantly put my friend at ease (she was super nervous) and then gave us each a reading.

He brought my friend's son through for her as well as my daughter for me. I could go on and on about all the amazing things that came up during the readings..further validation for me, for sure, and an amazing step forward for my friend. Thank you, Jake! I feel like the weight of my grief is lighter today. I am so grateful to have made a connection with you through HPH. What a blessing this group, and the mediums connected with it, are at Lily Dale Assembly, Inc.

Tony Allen's wonderful validation from his son, Tyler
Our Cave Creek Affiliate Leaders, Carol and Tony Allen, Tyler

Hi, my name is Tony Allen and Tyler is my son. I wanted to talk about what happened during my wife Carol's Cave Creek meeting.

During our sharing session, my wife's phone started ringing, I got up to put it on vibrate and saw it said potential spam. Lisa Wilcoxson, a shining light parent who is also a medium said: "That is Tyler calling, look at the numbers after the meeting and see if the numbers mean anything to you".

A few minutes later, my mother-in-law's phone started to ring as well, I have never heard her phone ring before, I didn't even know she had a phone. As she ran to grab it she said: "It says spam". Ironically my mother-in-law's ring tone was identical to Tyler's ring tone. I haven't heard that ring tone since Tyler's passing. It is an uncommon ring tone. My mother-in-law had no idea she had the same ring tone as Tyler.

After the meeting ended I went to look at the numbers on my wife's phone from her potential spam call and it was a bunch of 5's and 6's. We could add the numbers to 11 three times. One of the signs we continuously get from Tyler is either the number 11 or numbers that add to 11. We know it was Tyler.

Beth Bobier's Validation with Mia through Britta Grubin

Beth and Mia Bobier, Britta Grubin

Britta Grubin connected with Mia and brought through so much amazing information in such a short amount of time! She said that she had 2 siblings, liked ice cream, communicated with her eyes (she was non-verbal), had a peaceful transition - like she just closed her eyes and woke up on the other side - this was all true. She said she was proud of how I was dealing with everything and that she saw me writing about the experience and sharing her story. I actually have started writing everything down- we had a long 12-year journey of medical issues, surgeries, complications, grief and joy that I need to get out. Then she said a couple of things that I wasn’t sure about but found out later that week that they were about my in-laws. Britta asked if I was getting a new car (I had been considering downsizing) but that she also saw me being frustrated that I hadn’t gotten it sooner-  which didn’t resonate with me.

Two days later me in-laws came by to show us their new convertible and said I just wish we had gotten it sooner because Mia would have loved to take a ride- wow! Then Britta asked if one of my ears was plugged because she saw that it was and now it’s much better- I didn’t understand that one. My father in law also told us the next week that one of his ears had a greatly improved hearing after he had a procedure done - he had previously needed hearing aids for both but only needs it on one side now- another wow because she is obviously with the whole family and wants us to know. Then she said asked if I like granola bars -that’s basically what I have lived off since she passed- and if I like sparkling water in a can. I found my husband drinking Bai sparkling water from a can when I finished with this call. She said that my 10-month-old sees her in his room- we saw an orb go by on his baby monitor when he was awake in the middle of the night. I have never seen an orb in 12 years of using baby monitors constantly! So many things in such a short reading. I am so grateful to Britta for this amazing connection.

Carol Brown's Validation with Mavis Pittilla
Carol and Lloyd Brown, Mavis Pittilla

I was the lucky winner of a reading with Mavis Pittilla for the HPH Scholarship Raffle.  It was wonderful because the raffle drawing occurred on my husband's birthday. My husband came in right away as soon as she started and she just started saying all these things that were so spot on target. He totally dominated the whole reading, which was fine with me! My Mom came in for just about 3 or 4 minutes and my Dad for about 30 seconds (he was a man of few words!) Every time she said a fact, I wanted to expand on it but she only wanted me to answer, yes, no, or I don't know! What really surprised me was she mimicked the way he held his hand on his chin, whenever he was in deep thought about something. She did it the EXACT same way he did. It was lovely and I am so thankful HPH helped bring that to fruition!

Thank you again for all the great work HPH does, I wish there were a group like this for people that have lost husbands or spouses. You all have such a bonding, it's inspiring.

Love and Blessings, Carol Brown

Grande Dame of Mediumship in her new book, 'Droplets of God', was one of 15 talented evidential mediums who donated readings to a Helping Parents Heal Second Conference Scholarship Raffle that was organized by Susanne Wilson)

NEW BOOK by our Coldwater, MI Affiliate Leader, Louise Crist
From Amazon: Always Remember to Kiss Me Goodnight is a poignant memoir of love, loss, and healing. Written by an RN with decades of hospital experience, the author has witnessed many scenarios: illness, dying and grief, the perspectives of families left behind, and patients who described what they saw on the “other side” following successful CPR. This ultimately helped prepare her for what most psychologists describe as the “worst loss there is” in her own life.

Candidly taking the reader through her journey, there is proof in chapter after chapter that our loved ones who have gone Home first may not be as far away as they seem. Although people die, love never does! Instead of trying to “get over it,” it is possible to continue a relationship with a loved one who has died.
