A rather busy day of comings and goings, preparing for new guests and saying goodbye to others have left my brain in a left brain kinda mood. You may know that when the left brain is on full we are mostly reasoning, practical and logical. This is necessary at times, important most of the time but above all kills creativity with a sledgehammer. Add just a teeny weeny bit of time pressure (it’s almost 8 pm as I write this) and I was close to not sending you anything this week.
But do you know what gets our right brain back in the game? Music, insight and intuition! So as I felt rather brain dead walking around the house in despair I thought: music! I will share with you a Back to La Tierra Spotify playlist. A list of music to get up and dance, pour yourself a nice glass of tinto and feel the vibe.
Or, if you're more a documentary kind of right brained person I have this incredible film made in 1955 of Mijas Pueblo. A unique documentary portraying village life. The whole setting feels so much longer ago than only 70 years, a mere 2 generations.
So next time you are here with us and you visit the Pueblo you'll be able to understand why some of the elderly look so confused.
