Change is in the air at CITY this summer!

We are embracing transition this season as co-founders depart and shift roles. Carrie Brennan heads to Vermont for a new school leadership post. Eve Rifkin makes a move into higher education. JoAnn Groh continues in a new role at CITY as she turns the middle school principalship over to a new generation, and Brett Goble moves into his fifth year leading City High School as principal. Santo Nicotera retired in June 2018.

Times of change can test us all. Huge gratitude to our students and parents, our colleagues, and our board members for stepping up to the challenge with us. We know we've created something deep and lasting, as others lean in to shoulder the weight and live the mission with us.

Reflecting on the many meanings of 'change' and its full potential, let's remember Mahatma Gandhi's encouragement to us all:
'Be the change you wish to see in the world.'
