How Strategic Transportation and Logistics Negotiations & Execution can Elevate your Contract Performance & Returns

Topic: To discuss how transportation and logistics play a crucial part of the success of a project, its off take agreements to overseas clients and the sustainability of operations and construction  deadlines and targets. Providing specific examples of where particular modes of transport work and are cost affective in reducing the shipping and handling portion of the contract will surprise Mining Professionals as this is a task that is not very much seen as a large part of contract performance or maximize optimum deliveries.  This is what Rita  hopes to change in bringing more insight to the mining community outside of its actual sales and marketing teams.

Speaker:  Rita Conte,  Synergenics Consulting

Successfully executing logistics programs and negotiating contracts on behalf of project producers, owners and carriers, Rita has delivered resources to global clients being responsible for contract execution and client relations for shipments over the value of 5 million dollars.  Having worked closely with the port and terminal operators to improve throughput at the ports in North America in finding ways to increase capacity and utilize all resources including skilled labor, results were made in proper labor allocation finding new innovative systems to train skilled labor.  Having worked for a US company in supply chain management, contract negotiations doing business in Africa for clean energy supply and clean water systems Rita was able to work with an amazing group of global professionals in the resource sector.
