Antisemitism and White Nationalism: A Growing Global Threat
Wednesday, June 12, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Social Hall
Antisemitism, White Nationalism and other forms of hate are growing rapidly in the U.S. and across the globe. In this engaging multimedia presentation, Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Central Pacific Regional Associate Director Vlad Khaykin will discuss the state of hate today: the goals and tactics of White Nationalism, the nature and prevalence of antisemitism, its history in the U.S. and the role that it plays in today’s White Nationalist movements, as well as the ways it intersects with other forms of bigotry today.
Vlad Khaykin serves as the Associate Director of the Central Pacific Region of the ADL and the Director of its International Affairs Committee. The ADL was founded in 1913 to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all. Today it is the nation’s premier civil rights and anti-hate agency and fights anti-Semitism, racism and all forms of bigotry; defends democratic ideals; and protects civil rights for all through legislative advocacy, diplomacy, and education.
