Due to customer feedback, the audible beep which alerts the operator that the AlcoVUE® is due for recalibration has been removed and the warning screen updated in the latest firmware release.
On the previous firmware when calibration is overdue, upon turning on the device the AlcoVUE® reads "Calibration Required" and starts beeping. Now there is no beep and the screen reads "Calibration Required (Touch Screen to Continue) "
