forloop Weekly

Roses are red, violets are blue;
You started that project, now you must continue;

But, first...

- Android Q Beta 4 has been released
Exactly a month ago at Google I/O 2019, the near future of Android Q was explored, from security and privacy changes to changes in Kotlin. Since then, Google has been adding final touches to the 17th version of the operating system with new features and more APIs. You can take the Android Q Beta version for a spin here.

[
While Google has left no hints about what the "Q" represents, I have allowed myself to think that they will end the naming of sweet treats and adopt something organic, like Quinoa - Android Quinoa. You heard it here first.]

- GitHub has announced Git v2.22.0.
The new version of the open-source project was completed by over 70 contributors, and ships with new features such as rebase, merge, and more. Read the release notes here.

- Tensorflow 2.0.0 - Beta 0 has been released.
This new version of Tensorflow focuses on ease-of-use and better interaction with the library and will feature new features such as easy model building with Keras, API simplification, robust model deployment, and more. Check out the release notes to see all the features and improvements coming to 2.0.

- GitHub has introduced Repository Templates.
With the templates, you can generate similar repositories across codebases. Learn more and give it a try here
