Abiding Grace is having a Pool Party at the Trophy Club Community Pool and Splash Pad this Sunday evening, June 23, 8:00-10:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to invite family and friends—we can accommodate 300 people! You may bring food and drinks (no alcoholic beverages); note that no food or drinks will be provided. Sign up at the Fellowship kiosk.

 Torchy's with Taylor. The final 'Torchy's with Taylor' will be this Sunday, June 23, after the congregational meeting (about 12:15). Let's grab chips and queso one last time together, and you can also get to know Gary Knutson, our new Director of Family Ministries, a little better! Let Taylor know if you plan to be there.

Property Committee Chair. The Property Committee is in need of a new chairperson. The chair leads and organizes with the committee to maintain our facility:
- Oversee the landscaping company for maintenance of the property and sprinkler system
- Coordinate building repairs by volunteers or hired repair companies
- With the committee, organize work projects for fall, spring, and holidays
- Chair committee meetings on a monthly basis
- Track requests for improvement and betterment of the property
- Submit and monitor property budget

 Cooking oil. The GRACE Food Pantry has expanded its coverage and now averages over 30 families per day. All families need cooking oil, and the Outreach Committee is having a cooking oil drive during the month of June to help cover this increase. Please help by donating 48 oz. bottles of any type of cooking oil—consider increasing your current donations of cooking oil, if you can. Our goal for June is 225 bottles. Watch the number of donations grow!

Congregational meeting. A semi-annual meeting of the congregation will be held this Sunday, June 23, immediately after worship. The FY 2020 budget will be presented for approval. We will also elect new Church Council members. Nominees for the five open two-year terms are Kelcey Drapp, Debbie Kelly, Mark Saunders, Tonya Tomlin, and Dianna Trang. Nominated for one-year terms as Secretary and Treasurer are Kristin Bergstrom and Shirley Glazier, respectively. Materials for the meeting were emailed to all members on Tuesday. Please plan to attend this important meeting.
