The world’s largest conference on gender equality last week was a truly incredible gathering of over 8000 thinkers and doers moving the needle on gender equity. Acumen and Unilever launched their final report  A Lean Data How-to Guide: Understanding Gender Impact. Created with Acumen’s Lean Data team (now relaunched as 60 Decibels), the toolkit delves into the work of five different programs to develop a new, highly effective framework that entrepreneurs, impact investors, corporations, donors and philanthropists can use to measure their impact on women and girls.

Equal Measures 2020 published their 2019 SDG Gender Index   which provides a snapshot of where the world current stands as it relates to the vision of gender equality set forth by the 2030 Agenda. The index measures the state of gender equality aligned to 14 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 129 countries and 51 issues ranging from health, gender-based violence, climate change, decent work and others.

Shareholder Engagement 

Join other investors and investment managers in a call to end forced arbitration for sexual harassment by 2020. This summer, the Robasciotti & Philipson campaign will release the Investor Statement with signers' names and total assets represented (no individual signer's asset amount will be shared). In addition, a database of publicly traded companies and their status on forced arbitration for sexual harassment will be listed on a new website powered by LedBetter.
