It seems we left the EU at 11pm, 29th March 2019 - they are keeping that quiet!

The legal case is being made by Robin Tilbrook the chairman of the English Democrats, and this video is by Graham Moore (who has been the person mainly covering this case)  - but it is not a party political case, so don't worry about the messenger(s), just the message!

In summary, the Gina Miller case established that the Government needed an act of parliament to act on relation to article 50.

Parliament passed a law specifically allowing the Government to give notice of the UK's exit using Article 50, clause 2, which the government did, which set drop dead exist date/time of 11pm, 29th March 2019.

At the time when Theresa May requested and accepted an extension to that two year period under Article 50, clause 3 - she had no parliamentary or legal authority to do so.

The extension was invalid/unlawful so at 11pm 29th March 2019 - under UK and EU law, and under the EU treaties - the UK left the EU.

There is no basis for 'patching things up' after the event, the EU and the UK are required to act according to their treaty obligations which are clear as set out above. And while the incompetence of our political elite has already caused us to really 'crash out', they cannot turn back time.

Update 8th June Brexit Leave Case

The government won't publicly admit this as it would reveal their initial incompetence and subsequent cover-up, and they are no doubt trying to find a way to make it moot - and the judiciary are helping them by dragging their feet (unlike their fast tracking of the Gina Millar case) - but you can't turn back time, and failure to accept this truth will undermine all legal and treaty precedents.
