Butler Consulting helps organizations target grant seeking, fundraising, training and managing primarily in the Miami Valley of Ohio and nationwide since 1994

Welcome!

The goal of this newsletter is to connect with you and help with your grant seeking, training, capacity building and/or managing.  We've included many useful resources, but it's not the same as personal attention.  If you'd like some one-on-one consultation, just click reply and send us a message.  We'd love to help your organization get the money it needs to succeed!

Butler Consulting Updates -

WOW! I just returned from the national Grant Professionals Association (GPA) conference in Las Vegas that was informative, well-attended and motivational! With over 550 attendees, 70 sessions and outstanding keynote speakers addressing current grant and fundraising trends, tools and techniques, the conference was a success. As a national GPA Board member, I facilitated four sessions (i.e., “Chapter Leadership Forum”; “Special Interest Group for law enforcement, safety and social justice”; “Grants Gambling: Tricks of the Trade”; and “Consulting: Beyond the Start-up Phase” that I co-facilitated with my colleague from Arkansas, Cheryl Kester, President of The Kester Group) and networked with many grant professionals.

Upon my return to beautiful Ohio (I love the colorful, crisp fall!), we are pleased to publish Butler Consulting’s first newsletter as a way to connect with you. Our goal is to offer grant seeking, training, managing and fundraising updates, trends, funders and/or tips that can benefit you and your organization. We have successfully assisted over 160 organizations in Ohio and nationwide in the last 17 years by offering cost-effective, results-oriented and client-centered services.

As you administer and provide services benefiting your community during this last quarter of 2011, Butler Consulting applauds your leadership, mission-driven programs and stands ready to offer individualized consultation services that target your organization’s unique needs.

Accomplishments:

  • “You and Your Nonprofit” was published in May 2011 with Linda G. Butler as one of 43 co-authors
  • Butler Consulting worked with the Office of Healthy Ohio in September 2011 to secure the $933,930 agreement from the Center of Disease Control for the “Coordinated Chronic Disease Prevention and health Promotion Program”.
