Each fall, the Institute for Public Health (IPH) at Washington University in St. Louis hosts a popular and informative annual conference. The Center for Diabetes Translation Research will be co-sponsoring this year's conference, which will focus on infant and maternal health outcomes.

The annual conference will be held on Wednesday, October 30th at the Eric P. Newman Education Center on the Medical School campus at Washington University in St. Louis. This event is free and open to the public.

Accepting Abstract Submissions
The Institute for Public Health is accepting poster abstracts for the 2019 Annual Conference. IPH encourages submissions related to the conference theme, however abstracts on general public health topics are welcome.

Submit your abstract by September 13, 2019 to be considered. Applicants will be notified by September 30, 2019.

Call for Proposals: Pilot & Feasibility Funding for Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis
The Washington University Center for Diabetes Translational Research is soliciting applications for the Pilot and Feasibility Program. The purpose of this program is to advance translation research, preferably T3 or T4, in the areas of diabetes, prediabetes/metabolic syndrome, or obesity prevention or treatment. 

This call for applications is specific to faculty at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Full proposal applications are due by the October 1, 2019 -- Learn more.
