Bicycle Action Plan Before the City Commission

The MobileGR department of the City of Grand Rapids has been gathering public opinion to draft a Bicycle Action Plan that describes the city's current bicycling conditions, programs, and culture. The Plan makes recommendations about bicycle corridors, bicycle facilities, policy improvements, bicycle programs, and more. The Plan uses the "5-E" framework of bicycle planning: Engineering, Education, Encouragement, Enforcement, and Evaluation and Planning.

The Bicycle Action Plan will be reviewed by the Grand Rapids City Commission on July 9, 2019. Public input is invited. Attend the meeting to support the plan. The City Commission is expected to act on the proposed Bicycle Action Plan on July 23, 2019.

Maybe you enjoyed bicycle commutes enough to continue. My morning rides were relaxing and easy - so much that I decided to keep doing them.
