Intro to Square Dancing

You may - or may not! - know that I am running a Basic and Mainstream review/practice/workshop over the summer.  At the beginning of the summer, I had some dancers ask if they could bring NEW dancers to the Basic workshop and I had to say No

HOWEVER, that got me thinking - rather than leave them "stranded" until September, when their eagerness would run out, why not offer something in the summer JUST FOR NEW DANCERS?!!

So, I have three Monday nights set up for ANYONE to come out and dance and give Modern Square Dancing a try.  If they like it enough, they will have a bit of a head start for September, but at least they won't have lost "the bug." 

This is NOT a Meri Squares recruitment drive, so anyone is welcome to attend.  I will be happy to send them to the club that is closest to them in the Fall - better yet, if your dancers BRING them to these sessions, they will want to continue to dance with their friends and won't even be tempted to go to Meri Squares!

The attached flyer gives you more details.  Please pass it around and encourage your dancers to bring new dances out to give it a try!
