Our annual Cystic Fibrosis WA Transplant Support Dinner is coming soon. Adults with CF who are post-transplant are invited to join us for this evening of drinks and dinner, on us!

65 Roses Thank You
Thank you to everyone who helped us paint WA with over 16,000 roses on 65 Roses Day.

City to Surf Coming Soon
Chevron City To Surf is happening again this year in Karratha on 11 August and Perth on 25 August.
We already have some runners taking on the course and raising funds and awareness in support of the CF community.
One of our runners Stella said she “knows so many amazing young people battling this terrible illness, some who aren’t able to run, so I will be running for them”. Thank you Stella and happy training!

End of Financial Year Gift

VAULT & Exchange Tower Spin Challenge
We would like to extend a huge thank you to the teams at Vault Fitness and Exchange Tower who spun themselves to an amazing total of $23,500, shared between nominated beneficiaries Cystic Fibrosis WA and the Steve Waugh Foundation.
Thanks also to our CF spin ambassador, Dylan and his family, for participating in the challenge, as well as President Caz Boyd for sharing her CF journey and accepting the cheque on behalf of CFWA.

Aaron's Crack a Cure Fundraiser
Aaron, whose younger brother lives with CF, recently undertook an impressive Crack a Cure fundraiser at his school.
He set himself a fundraising goal of $500, with a promise to crack an egg over his head for every $100 raised. But with the support of his friends and teachers at his school he's raised over $2,000. Incredible!

HBF Run - Over $31K for CF!
Thanks to the amazing efforts of more than 30 runners and the support of many generous donors, the teams supporting CF in the HBF Run for a Reason have raised over $31,200. What an incredible achievement!

Cake Angels - Baking for CF Kids
The Australian Cake Angels are a group of over 1,900 volunteer cake decorators all over Australia that make beautiful cakes for children with chronic illness or disability.
These wonderful volunteers have kindly offered to make birthday cakes for children living with CF.

Congratulations Dr Larbalestier
Congratulations to Dr Rob Larbalestier, Head of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Fiona Stanley Hospital, who has been recently named as an Officer of Order of Australia (AO) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
Dr Larbalestier pioneered the Western Australian Heart and Lung Transplant Service in 1994. Previous to this, people requiring transplant surgery in WA had to travel interstate.
