Care Day
Friday, June 28, 10am - 3pm
Northshore Middle School
Care Day is a day devoted to connecting our neighbors in the Northshore area with immediate access to the services and resources they need.
In 2018 over 630 attendees enjoyed a hot meal and had access to free health services, groceries, haircuts, housing information, public benefits, referrals to employment training, veterans services, legal advice, and much more.

Looking ahead...
The Woodmoor PTSA is already planning events and enrichment activities for the 2019-20 school year, and we need your help! If you like what the PTSA brings to Woodmoor and would like to get involved, we still have several openings, with varying levels of time commitment. Many can be done almost entirely at home.

WOODMOOR FIELD DAY
URGENT -- Volunteers Needed!
We only have about 40 of the 80 volunteers needed to run the Field Day events! We can't do it without you. Please come out and enjoy Field Day with our Woodmoor Dolphins!
When: Thursday, June 20th
Where: Check in at the WM Gym. Activities take place at NMS
Time: Grades 3-5 -- 9:30-11:00 (Volunteer commitment: 8:30-11:15)
Grades K-2 -- 1:00-2:30 (Volunteer commitment: 12:30-2:45)
Volunteers will check in at the Woodmoor Gym for an orientation before heading out to their assignments. At that time, they will learn what station they are running and receive instructions.
Please contact your child's teacher or Ann Delano to sign up.

Summer Meal Resources
Kingsgate Library
Free lunch for children and teens ages 1 to 18
- June 24 - August 30, Mon-Fri (closed July 4)
- 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Northshore Middle School
The Northshore School District is excited to offer a Summer Food Service Program this year. We will serve lunch at no charge to all children 18 and younger. Children do not have to be enrolled in the District to receive this benefit. Adults may purchase meals at the regular, advertised price of $4 for lunch. All meals must be consumed at the school.

 Community Serve Day
August 25, 9am - 1pm
Be part of a movement of local churches, school districts, PTSA’s, non-profits, and businesses that mobilize as one for our community. For one day we come together to help schools get ready for the new school year, preparing classrooms and school grounds to become a premier learning environment for our kids. Projects include helping teachers set up classrooms, as well as improving the campuses through painting, repairs, beautification, and more.
