30th Anniversary
Guild Challenge

 

The Port Perry Patchers are celebrating 30 years as a guild in October 2019. There have been many changes over the years, but a couple of activities have a history in our guild. They are charity and outreach quilts, and challenges. I hope you will participate in our 30th anniversary challenge.

 30th Anniversary Quilt Challenge

 

Challenge Theme:  "Pearls of Wisdom"

 

Let your imagination run free with the theme Pearls of Wisdom!

 

Dimensions:  The maximum size will be no larger than 48 inches around.
E.g.: 12" x 12". It can be as small as you like and any shape.

 

It should have 3 layers: top, batting and /or stabilizer and backing.
It may be hand quilted or machine quilted.

 

Any style or technique may be used. Design may be modern, traditional, pieced, appliqued, embroidered or embellished, etc.

 

All edges should be finished.

 

Finished piece should have a label and some way to hang, if applicable.

 

The deadline for the challenge is October 28, 2019. 
*Note the change of date for meeting, due to federal election.
