Welcome to our latest newsletter - as ever, you'll find within it lots of links, blogs, and news stories, and this time there's also a podcast, which I hope you like!
WHERE TO FIND ME! HOW TO HEAR ME!
I'm very excited to have been interviewed by Kenneth from the Do More Good podcast team, and the episode (iTunes) has just dropped! Or check it out here (Spotify)! Kenneth and I tackle a whole range of subjects including mentoring, my journey into the sector and into consulting, embracing vulnerability, the beauty of parkrun, and my thoughts on the future of the charity sector.
And I'm really looking forward to speaking at the Institute of Fundraising's Fundraising Convention 2019 (taking place 1-3 July) this year! David Burgess, Lizzi Hollis and I are leading Fundraising - It's a funny old game on Wednesday 3 July, in which fundraising will meet football in a ‘Match of the Day’ themed session. I'm also attending on the other two days, so hope to see you there.

"You had me at pizza. I’d been looking forward to Pizza for Losers, a new charity sector event at which speakers reveal lessons from their failures, for a while. It didn’t disappoint." Read more.
"York has long held a place in this southerner’s heart. It’s the city in which I got married. And I just find it beautiful like no other place, particularly on a sun-dappled early evening: the medieval streets, the Minster, the city walls, the river running through it. But I’ve never really associated it with my work..." Read more
