Looking ahead – ICORIA 2019 in Krems Austria

Designing experiences is the theme for this year’s ICORIA. Besides experiencing the multitude of topics of the 116 accepted papers in the various sessions of the conference, we want to provide you with an outlook on this year’s Conference program.

The PhD Colloquium will be held in the Gozzoburg, the oldest building in the city, but the youngest member of IMC Campus, so you can exchange ideas and learn essentials for the academic life in the historic Wappensaal.

On Thursday, we will start with a get together in an Austrian institution: a typical “Heurigen”. Experience here local wines and some hearty food like typical ham and horseradish or Blunzn (the Austrian version of black pudding). After the reception, you may join the Night Guard Tour to learn more about historic Krems.

On Friday, Simona Botti from London business School and Georg Jeitler will address in their keynotes decision-making experiences as well as the relationship between advertising and white-collar crime. Enjoy furthermore the many little experiences from different culinary arts to poetry corners as well as virtual reality throughout the conference days. The conference dinner will champion the Apricot while cruising through the picturesque Wachau Valley and presenting the different awards.

On Saturday, the conference closes with an optional Tour in Vienna and see some of the secret places in Vienna. You may afterwards head for dinner in the city or enjoy some of the events.

Martin Waiguny and his team really look forward to welcoming the EAA and ICORIA family. Also follow us on instagram or facebook for recent updates @icoria2019
