The original bikepacking race, the Tour Divide, begins today meanwhile the TABR continues with Abdullah Zeinab leading by over 400 miles.

NEED TO KNOW

TOUR DIVIDE

STARTS: Friday 14th June, 08:00 (GMT-6)
LOCATION: Banff, AB, Canada
LENGTH: 2745 miles
TERRAIN: Off-road

Arguably the original bikepacking race, the Tour Divide continues for another year with riders making their way south to Antelope Wells on the USA/Mexico border. Previous winners include Mike Hall (who still holds the course record), Josh Kato (returning for this year's race) and Lael Wilcox (also returning this year). It'll be a showdown of some of the best riders from the bikepacking world but watch out for the quiet ones - it's not over 'til it's over.

Our commentator, David Chirnside, will be scrutinising the dots and giving updates throughout the race.
