In case you haven't heard, we're hosting a national conference here in Austin next week! We wanted to share a few ways for you to get involved with Peace Corps Connect 2019: Innovation for Good:
- Last call for PCC tickets! To be a part of all the awesome sessions, panels, keynotes, and exhibits: learn more and purchase your tickets HERE. (...we're also got a surprise guest (RPCV and Central Texas legend) joining us for Thursday's opening reception!)
Don't want to buy a full registration, but still want to be involved? Here are some ways you can participate in PCC for FREE (or on the cheap):
- Thursday, June 20 at 3:00-5:00pm: Peace Corps Job Fair at J. J. Pickle Federal Building (300 E 8th St, Austin, Texas 78701) - FREE
- Friday, June 21 at 7:00pm: Regional Dinners - join RPCV from your region of service at international restaurants around Austin - $25 - all proceeds fund HoTPCA! Purchase your tickets HERE (select "Registration - Regional Dinner")
- Friday, June 21 at 10:30am-5:30pm and Saturday, June 22 at 10:30am-2:30pm: Peace Corps Film Screenings in the ART Building at UT (Room 1.102) - FREE
- Sunday, June 23 at 8:00-10:00am: Service Activities with conference guests, meeting outside of the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center at UT - FREE, but we'd love your RSVP
- Either Sunday, June 23rd or Monday, June 24 at 4:30-7:30pm: Hang on Monday for some post-conference R&R on a Party Barge on Lake Travis! This is a tentative activity, and we'd like to gauge y'all's interest or find an alternative that works to all ex-sail all that conference stress - please help us make a decision by completing this brief 3-question survey. (Barge Tickets would range from $15-$35, depending on the number of participants).
 Can't come to the conference at all, but still want to contribute? Please consider supporting our Social Impact Pitch Competition.
Our group of inspirational finalists are all RPCV-led and will pitch their impact organizations and businesses. Help us up the ante by contributing a few dollars for these awesome changemakers!
