Oh, hi friends!

Are you a little aimless? A little scattered? A little maybe this or why not that or should I or could I or why don’t I?

Yeah. I get ya.

When you’re aimless, I guess (get ready this is obvious) what you’re lacking is…an aim. A goal. A deadline.

I created a note today that said “Random Big Project Things?!” The first bullet on the list was: “Write an action movie.”

Oh-kaaaay. Where’d that come from?

But wait.

Why not?

Why not?

Why not?

Any aim beats being aimless.

Oh, how nice it feels to open a window.

"Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it."

From the great Maya Angelou.

More definitions of success here. (What’s your definition?)

Sondheim in 90 seconds

“When I first started to write lyrics, it was Oscar himself who said, ‘You’re writing like me. You’re imitating me. You’re talking about nature and things like that. You don’t believe in those things.’

He said, ‘Write what you believe…write what you believe and you’ll be 99% ahead of the game. You’ll be 99% ahead of everybody else.’”

OH STEVE.
