Adventures...

edition 031
If we're at the beach and feeling thirsty, how much is a bottle Heineken worth? It depends on where we buy it.
The beer still does the same thing for us, but our behaviour (and spending) changes depending on the signals we want to send.
Hi <<First Name>>

This past month I’ve done a whole lot of workshops and classes: on topics from machine learning to marketing funnels, cybersecurity to storytelling.

The one common thread? Behaviour.

Whether it’s exploring AI automation or passionate persuasion, everything eventually comes down to the changes in state - the changes in behaviour - that take place in the humans around us.

Before focusing on the technology or the typeface, it’s people's current and desired behaviours we want be looking out for most.

I hope you enjoy this month's dispatch. and as always I'd love to hear where you're spending your time right now. Just hit reply.

Thanks for reading.

Free Course: Workshop Creator

Content design & facilitation are two of the most important skills I've developed over the past few years.

And as workshops are the future of learning, I’ve created a free 7-day email course on how to build educational workshops that…work.

Next up are deeper dives via an online course and in-person workshop sessions. Stay tuned for more on those, but for now just click for the lowdown on how to design and deliver your own educational workshop.

// FOOTNOTES

Other things I've been up to this month:

- Getting back to nature with kayak trips both in and out of NYC - the nature in New York state is seriously underrated

- Helping a bunch of people with plans for pitches, panel hosting, and other narrative arcs.

- Feeling the Resistance when it comes to my writing. Time to get the (literal and metaphorical) boxing gloves on again.

This is an email digest from me - Howard. I'm an educator, coach and project builder based in NYC.

This monthly dispatch collates a few of the things I've found interesting across education, entrepreneurship, and entertainment.
