Northern Celebration of Education 2019

Celebrate and showcase the best in classroom practice across the North of England in a practitioner-led space where you will be enthused and energised, ending the academic year on a high. Think festival atmosphere, thinking space, debate, research-informed new practice, and connecting with peers from schools across the North.

It's the only 2-day event of its kind in the North. This is your chance to see the best education practice the North has to offer, as well as engage with universities, think tanks, and research organisations as you discover and debate which techniques and practices can help you to grow as a professional.

Schools North East Annual Summit

The Schools North East annual Summit will once again take place at St James' Park in Newcastle. Now in its eleventh year, we expect this to be our biggest and most exciting Summit yet.

We are delighted to announce that our guest keynote speaker is Damian Hinds, Secretary of State for Education.

 

Other confirmed speakers include Jules White, Head Teacher of Tanbridge House School and Steve Munby.

Forming and Developing Small Multi Academy Trusts Training
Are you a CEO, School Business Manager, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Operations, or a Trust Manager in a new Multi Academy Trust, a Trust planning to expand or a school looking to move into a Trust? 

This practical 3-4 day training course will be delivered over a 6 week period and will significantly upskill those involved in emerging, and developing and expanding MATS. Delegates will leave with a personal network of colleagues for ongoing support and a resource toolkit of templates and information that can be adopted within their own MAT.

SEND focussed NPQML and  NPQSL Application Deadline 
NPQML and NPQSL , with SEND focus. delivered in Newcastle and Cumbria starting Autumn 2019. 

Applicants from Category 5 and 6 (Northumberland, Middlesbrough, Carlisle and Eden) will get guaranteed free funding. Participants in church schools, and some other specific schools may also be funded.
