July Roundup

Festival season is finally upon us!

Were you lucky to pitch up at Worthy Farm and see your favourite bands at Glastonbury this year? Or did you head over to a more local get together? As for us, we'll be heading to the delightful Neverworld in Kent at the beginning of August to catch sets from The Vaccines, Craig David, Mystery Jets and Shy FX. With just one month to go until they open their gates for 2019, this spectacular kingdom of music and arts is set to be an incredible weekend.

Festivals are all about enjoying the weather (even if it's a washout), creating memories with friends and family and catching some of the hottest acts on the lineup. And speaking of hottest acts...

We've been working on some great campaigns the past couple of months with artists from across the globe, including: Spanish composer Manu Dia, Swiss artist PYRAME, future soul trio Exmag and the versatile London producer DJ Chillz

Click through the images below to find articles, case studies, playlists, videos and more.

MANU DIA

'Surface'

Releasing his debut EP 'Surface' via TOKiMONSTA's imprint Young Art Records, Spanish producer and composer Manu Dia earned support from The Line Of Best Fit, EARMILK, XLR8R, Complex and Resident Adviser for his glitchy electronic rhythms.

PYRAME

'A Fine Life'

Swiss electronic producer PYRAME released his sleek debut EP 'A Fine Life' at the end of June. Garnering attention from the likes of Amy Lamé at BBC 6 Music, the multi-instrumentalist also received support from Magnetic Magazine, Acid Stag and Decoded Magazine.

DJ CHILLZ

'1111 Accord'

The London-based DJ and producer has been dropping more musical treats with the introspective '1111 Accord', catching the attention of PopMatters, DiscoBelle, EARMILK and Bristol In Stereo. Keep an eye out for more tunes from the talented producer very soon.

PLÀSI

'Mystery'

Signed to Canadian label Nettwerk Recordings, Swedish folk artist Plàsi recently released his folk tinged single 'Mystery', the first of three singles from his upcoming EP. Combining rhythmic finger plucking with his haunting lyrical inflections, the artist has already garnered support from The Line of Best Fit, EARMILK, Stereofox and God Is In The TV.

EXMAG

'Really Good For Me' feat. Ari De Leo

Out on our in-house record label 3 Bar Fire, future soul trio Exmag released their infectious new single ‘Really Good For Me’. Featuring vocals from Pennsylvanian artist Ari De Leo, the collective continue to defy genre restrictions on the record, fusing stuttering synth lines with woozy guitar runs. With support from BBC 1Xtra's Jamz Supernova, Complex, Clash and Nest HQ, the trio are gearing up to release an exclusive remix package of their EP 'The Walls That Divide Us' at the end of the year.

NEVERWORLD

1 - 4 August, Kent

We've been working with Neverworld on their press outreach in the lead up to the festival this August. With the likes of Craig David, The Vaccines, Professor Green, ALMA and Dream Wife contributing to the line up, the festival promises an array of colourful sounds. Priding itself on its family friendliness, Neverworld is made up of three whimsical realms: The Neverwoods, Skull Ridge and Mermaids Lagoon, all of which are filled with magical activities to keep the young ones entertained. There are still a few tickets available, so grab them here while you still can!
