Summer is here and it is a great season for connecting with neighbors and friends. Villages provide communities with a support network with enormous value for people of all ages. There are more than 300 established and developing villages nationwide. There is an especially large concentration in the DC area. They are regenerating the neighborhoods and communities of yesteryear and the results are amazing! Start the conversation with your neighbors.

King Farm Neighbors Village

The Board has hosted informal monthly coffee gathering with the purpose of offering a venue where neighbors can enjoy a social environment and chat about items of interest. These morning sessions have been well attended and have provided an opportunity to learn about the 
KFNV plans as well as to get feedback from attendees.  

KFNV Services Launch!
September will see the launching of KFNVs ability to provide some services to residents in need.  
A cadre of people have been vetted to provide transportation through Senior Rides.

Pump House Village

The Village gathered together with the East Rockville Civic Association for a Summer potluck in early June.  

 

The village meets the 1st Sunday of the month at  3:00 p.m. at the Pump House located on 401 South Horners Lane.

Twinbrook Village

  The Twinbrook Village meets at 3:00 PM  the 2nd Sunday of the month at the Twinbrook Community Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway. The Village is busy planning a late summer potluck gathering and the website is nearly complete!  Watch for announcements coming soon!
