Join IGRA at the
IAJGS Conference
in Cleveland, Ohio, USA
this summer.
 
Once again, IGRA will be participating at the IAJGS conference. We are proud to announce that 19 IGRA members will be giving presentations at the conference, including board members, Garri Regev and Daniel Horowitz. We will also have a table at the Share Fair on Sunday where IGRA will offer a special membership price for those who join at the Conference.  We hope to see you there.

IGRA's All Israel Databases (AID)
If you are receiving this newsletter, you are already registered to search the All Israel Database (AID). There are over 1.4 million records in the AID. We are constantly adding new databases and new features with the help of our amazing volunteers.

All-Day Seminar in Tel Aviv

On June 19th, IGRA held an all-day seminar, "A Selection of Lectures from International Jewish Genealogy Conferences". Eleven lecturers spoke at the seminar. There were tracks in English and in Hebrew. 



Prof. Gil Atzmon was the keynote speaker of the day. His lecture was entitled "The Jewish Genome in the Jewish History Perspective".

 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
 
The Annual General Meeting was held on June 19th. Ingrid Rockberger chaired the meeting and Leesa Goren was the secretary. The President, Philip Trauring, the Treasurer, Eyal Hollander and the Audit Committee presented their annual reports. Elections were held. Two board members were elected, Elena Bazes and Daniella Alyagon. Three members of the Audit Committee, Susan Edel, Rose Lerer Cohen and Esther Rechtschafner were elected.
