Reminder: Spiritual Care, Chaplaincy in Canada: Book Chapter Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in CMF's proposed book. Your interest/proposal is hereby accepted. 

Kindly note the full chapter submission is due on July 15, 2019. Your early submission, if possible, will speed up the review and editing process.

Here are the details (includes page one:  Submission Guidelines; and page two: Tentative Table of contents).

Once you are ready to send the full chapter, kindly complete the copyright agreement form (see attached).

Significance of the book:
This would be the first comprehensive book mapping Multifaith diversity in Canada’s spiritual & religious care, chaplaincy. It aims to provide anecdotes, case studies, reviews, reports, trends in spiritual & religious care in all walks of life.

Intended Audience:
It will be a good read for chaplains, spiritual and religious care volunteers, researchers, administrators, policymakers, students, psychosocial counselors, healing and spiritual therapists, faith communities, social workers, frontline staff, nursing & healthcare professionals as well as academicians in pastoral studies, spiritual & religious studies, sociology, and humanities.

Topics:
The book will have three sections. The first section will focus on spiritual & religious care in a specific sector, such as prison, healthcare, police, fire, armed forces, campus, workplace, sports, community, etc. The second section will focus on broader areas of policies, theory or practice (and not limited to one single sector or institution). The third section will focus on faith-based chaplaincy, for example, Anglican Chaplaincy, Buddhist Chaplaincy, Orthodox Chaplaincy, etc.
