Call for abstracts closes this Friday


Time is running out to submit your abstract for ACIPC 2019!

Submissions are being accepted for the following presentation types:
  • Oral Presentation: 17 minutes, including 2 minutes question time. Presentations should be scientific in nature and may be original research, case presentations, divisional projects or analytical studies.
     
  • ePoster and Lightning Talk: Interactive electronic posters (ePosters) will be displayed for the duration of the conference on flat screen monitors in a dedicated ePoster display area. Presenters will also have the opportunity to give a 5 minute talk about their ePoster during dedicated sessions at the conference. ePosters and Lightning Talks are an opportunity to discuss problem solving, quality improvement initiatives and present case studies.
     
  • Poster Presentation: Poster presentations will be displayed for the duration of the conference in A0 size, portrait orientation. Posters can present research in progress, case presentations, divisional projects, clinical topics, quality improvement initiatives, case studies.
We welcome submissions addressing all areas of Infection Prevention and Control, particularly those addressing the conference themes.

Submissions are encouraged from authors wanting to share practical examples of improvements in the day-to-day management of infection prevention and control particularly in a dental and/or aged care setting.
 
Accepted scientific papers will be published in a special online edition of Infection, Disease and Health - the official journal of ACIPC

Awards and Prizes


Awards and prizes will be presented in the following categories
  • Best Oral Presentation: The winner as judged by an appointed panel will be awarded the Elaine Graham Robertson award comprising a plaque and cheque to the value of $500. 
     
  • Best Poster Award: There will be two best poster prizes awarded at the conference; one judged by the ACIPC Scientific Conference Organising Committee and one delegates choice. 
Accepted scientific papers will be published in a special online edition of Infection, Disease and Health - the official journal of ACIPC
