It has certainly been a cold and frosty start to winter with several frosts delaying play on course. Please ensure you follow the Mooroopna Pro Shop on Facebook so that you stay up to date with course conditions and open times during frosty conditions.

FROM THE PRO SHOP
Morning Frosts

With the cooler weather also comes some morning frosts. Frost has been a constant every morning for the past few days and it looks like continuing throughout the week. To protect the condition of our course, we have to wait until the frost clears before play can begin, currently we have a standard 8.30am start each day however this could extend further depending on the severity of the frost. Thank you for your understanding, please keep up to date by following the Mooroopna Pro Shop page for regular updates and further information.

Pennant Golf at Mooroopna

Mooroopna Golf Club will host to Pennant golf again this Sunday which will see the course closed for most of the morning. It is expected that social play will be available after 12.30pm, why not come out early and support your Club's pennant players before you hit off in the afternoon?

Check Your Grips
Now is the time to check your grips and ensure they are in good condition, especially your speciality clubs including woods and wedges. It is very affordable to replace them and you only need to allow a day for fitting.

Local Rules
Members are reminded to check the local rule board before each competition game. It is in your best interests to know any relief situations for the course, which can only help you shoot a better score.

Hole In One!
Congratulations to Bruce Richards who scored an "Hole In One" on the 10th hole Thursday. A wonderful achievement.

Time Flies!
It has officially been 12 months since I begun operations as your PGA Head Professional. I would just like to thank everyone for your support over the past 12 months, we really appreciate it and look forward to years ahead.
