On Tuesday last week, the HEAQ AGM was held. All the State Chapter Committee Members have stepped down, and we'd like to recognise the work of Miranda, Chelsey, Zoe and Susanna in forming the State Chapter and championing it for the last two years. Fiona Edmunds and Kaylah Voltz have stepped up as nominees for the new Committee.

We need at least 2 more enthusiastic Queenslanders to step up and take this on. You need to be a member of the HEA, with a little bit of time to give. The time commitment isn't huge, and will be determined by the committee members themselves. The State Chapter meets every second month. The direction this group takes will be decided by the members of the committee. This is an opportunity to get involved and make a difference in your local community, and in your State. Improving relationships with the HEU seems to be an important issue for all Queenslanders.
