Algebra 2 & Pre-Calculus

Formal & Informal Logic

Formal (Deductive) Logic is a full-year math class in which we study “the art and science of reasoning well” and discover that accurate facts are not enough… valid reasoning is just as important!

Informal Logic is a fun, useful elective appropriate for junior high and above. Learn to argue like a lady or a gentleman! (1/2 credit)

Economics

We will explore principles ranging from the choices individuals make daily to the running of a monopoly to the goals that national governments pursues. We won’t solve the problems of unemployment or poverty, but students will learn to ask the right questions, and hopefully, understand the answers! (1/2 credit)
