New Links Project

New Links is a yearlong project to study and propose a network redesign of public transportation in Orleans, Jefferson, and St. Bernard Parishes. The project is a partnership between the Regional Transit Authority (RTA) and Regional Planning Commission (RPC), in collaboration with Jefferson Transit (JeT) and St. Bernard Urban Rapid Transit (SBURT).

The New Links team is conducting a survey on how both transit riders and non-riders get around the greater New Orleans area. Your answers will help the New Links Team understand your transportation choices, and help the RTA and JeT redesign the bus and streetcar network to better serve you. Take the Survey Now!

Every Wednesday, Orleans Parish residents with one proof of residency will get free admission with up to four guests to Audubon attractions. The Appreciation Days will rotate each week from the Aquarium, Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, Zoo, and Planetarium (Louisiana Nature Center).
