Check out Taylor’s Recipes!

Several people have asked if there is a recipe that combines potatoes, veggies, and Egg Beaters® in one dish so you only need one main casserole for breakfast or brunch. Here's one such recipe: Taylor's All-in-One Frittata.

Several have asked about the difference between gelatin and agar-agar, and some information can be found here:

Q. My kindergarten-age child has a classmate who does not talk at school—to anyone. The teacher said the child has been diagnosed with “Selective Mutism,” but that’s all she knew. I never heard of anything like that. Does this mean the child “selects” who to talk to and who not to talk to? And does that “start in the brain,” too? Answer...

Point to Ponder

I have a long French-Catholic generational inheritance on my maternal side of the family tree. Reportedly it contained a fair number of priests and nuns, which may be one reason the family system is not huge. Maybe cellular memories impacted the fact that I have always enjoyed reading things written by Mother Teresa. Recently I came across this bit of prose. It makes one think.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is a beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is life, fight for it!
—Mother Teresa
