MEET THE ARTIST

Meet the Artist:
Seghito

Seghito, or Annette Ngongi, is a jazz, soul and blues vocalist based in Dar es Salaam. She trained at the Tanzanian House of Talent (THT) and is known for her high energy performance and strong vocals.  Inspired by  African icons  like Fela Kuti and Miriam Makeba and western  stars like Amy Winehouse, her songs fuse jazz, traditional beats, and afro blues and reggae to a new level. Expect her to take the vibe to a new level when she takes the Nafasi stage on June 29 for Wikiendi Live.
