Greetings BIA family members,

In order to leverage the positive impact for Downtown Kemptville businesses as part of our Kemptville Live Passport promotion and our sponsorship of the Kemptville Live Music Festival, the Old Town Kemptville BIA Events Committee has proposed the idea of an exclusive special offer to the visitors who will be attending the festival this year.

Each year hundreds of people camp overnight at the Kemptville Campus for the duration of the festival. These campers visit businesses across Kemptville to buy food, beverages, supplies, and sometimes just to simply explore the area. The Events Committee believes that by providing festival visitors a unique exclusive offer, this will encourage more of them to frequent the participating retail and service businesses in Downtown Kemptville.
As part of a package that will be sent out to all campers before they arrive for the festival, the Events Committee wants to compile a list of local businesses that would be willing to offer a special 15% discount to festival-goers that present their special Kemptville Live wristband as proof of their support of the festival. Rather than having a variety of different offers available from local businesses (which could be somewhat confusing), the committee felt that one universal offer would be more effective. By sending this information out in advance of the festival, this would make visitors aware of not only what businesses are out there, but additionally where they could save money.

To highlight the details of this special offer, a media release will be sent to local media and a poster will be created to be placed in the windows of participating businesses so that they are easily identified by festival supporters.

We strongly encourage you to support this special offer to bring more people to Downtown.
