I have two things to share today, and I'll keep it short and sweet:

First: The Dodo Knight, Michelle Rene's historical fiction novella that will transport you to Victorian England... and into the heart of the very special little girl who inspired Alice in Wonderland, won a finalist medal in this year's NextGen Indie book awards

To celebrate, we're running a sale on the ebook! Grab a copy for just $0.99 today. Hurry - this sale ends this weekend. Buy at any of the usual places: Amazon | BN.com | Gumroad | iBooks | Kobo | Smashwords

Second: We have a new cover to share! Our next release is a novella about an ordinary boy named Carl... who happens to have antlers on his head. He meets a girl, and together they find themselves embroiled in magic they do not understand. The Boy Who Was Mistaken for a Fairy King, by HL Fullerton, will be out in November. It is a somewhat quirky and wholly magical story that I can't wait to share with everyone. Watch this space for pre-order announcements and a chance to be an advance reader!

The Boy Who Was Mistaken for a Fairy King, by HL Fullerton

Release date: November, 2019

On the day Carl was born, the crocuses heralded the arrival of a special child. Or did they?

Carl King is an average boy, a gentle, kind, sweet teen who attracts an odd assortment of friends. He sometimes confers with trees… and just so happens to have antlers growing atop his head.

Evangeline Chase is an average girl from a close-knit family. She likes to run and enjoys a long walk in the woods… with her bow and arrow.

It's a match made in deep, dark magic.  A boy with antlers. A girl enthralled with the chase. A forest keeping grim secrets.

Everything seems fine until someone calls a Hunt….

The Dodo Knight, by Michelle Rene

“I have it on very good authority that a muse must have their heart broken six times before they can die.”

Alice Liddell was the muse for Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. But before the book was published, a rift opened between Carroll and the Liddell family. Also dubbed the “Liddell Riddle,” historians still speculate as to what happened to separate the famous author and his muse. Michelle Rene has imagined a beautiful and heart-breaking story of a special friendship and its unfortunate end. Told from the viewpoint of Alice herself, The Dodo Knight will transport you to Victorian England… and into the heart of a very special little girl.
