PRESIDENCY
CEI Ministers of Foreign Affairs discuss in Trieste CEI’s common vision for the future 
The meeting on 12 June was chaired by H.E. Enzo Moavero Milanesi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, who reconfirmed his country's commitment to the CEI mission and objectives. It witnessed the adoption of the Trieste Declaration, including specific areas for further cooperation, i.e. a possible establishment of a CEI Local Dimension and development of a “CEI Agenda for the Youth”.  read more
SECRETARIAT 
SG Antonione at CoE on joint activities of common interest
On 20 June, the CEI SG visited the Council of Europe and had meetings with the Group on External Relations (CoE GR-EXT), the DG of Human Rights and Rule of Law Giakoumopoulos and the DG of Democracy Snežana Samardžić-Marković. They singled out possibile cooperation areas, i.e. anti-corruption, culture, involvement of local and regional Authorities as well as youth.

CEI ASG Nikoletti at Trieste Eastern Europe Investment Forum 2019: strategic plan of foreign direct investments crucial for CEI region
On 7 June, CEI ASG Antal Nikoletti - at the Trieste Eastern Europe Investment Forum 2019 - underlined the CEI’s special role in supporting its non-EU Member States in the process of European integration and good-neighbourly relations through political dialogue and project oriented activities to promote trade and investments in the region within a reinforced CEI Business Dimension. read more
 PARLIAMENTARY DIMENSION
CEI PD Parliamentary Committee in Trieste on enhancing cooperation among local authorities
During the gathering on 27-28 May, the President of the CEI Parliamentary Dimension and Head of the Italian Delegation to the CEI PD, Marco Maggioni stated that the CEI could get more attention from citizens and greater territorial rooting and visibility if it were able to develop an ever closer and more effective connection with the regional authorities, thus creating a privileged relationship with them where national states are not able to interveneread more
KNOW-HOW EXCHANGE PROGRAMME (KEP) 
SMART RIVER GOVERNANCE project 2.0 on integrated management of river areas in Moldova successfully completed
The activity regarded an Italy-Moldova transfer of knowledge to disseminate and share good practices and innovative technologies for water resource management in small river basins in Moldova.  read more

COME-IN! Project on accessibility in cultural policies: outcomes and perspectives
On 30 May, the CEI Executive Secretariat in its capacity as Lead Partner of the COME-IN! project, presented the main results obtained: the "Guidelines for accessibility in museums", the "Guide for Museum Operators", and the COME-IN! Label. read more
Blue Hackathon – 1st “marathon” of sustainable innovation in FVG dedicated to the sea 
Blue Hackathon was a hands-on experience held on 18-19 June, where entrepreneurs and innovators had the chance to work and compete in multidisciplinary teams in order to find a creative solution for “innovation challenges” in the fields of environment & costal protection, smart shipbuilding, maritime transport & yachting services. read more
