End of June Announcements

We blinked and the end of June is almost here! We've had so much going on with our company family picnic, graduations and new admin staff hired (welcome to Jocelyne and Stacy!), and now we are prepping for the new fiscal year to start on Monday July 1st. Please review a few quick announcements. We'll be publishing our next regular newsletter in July as a double issue 😄

Reminder - Our office will be closed on July 4th. We hope you enjoy a relaxing Independence Day!

All Respite Hours Expire Sunday June 30th!

The end of the fiscal year for all of our funding agencies is June 30th. Unused respite hours DO NOT roll past this date.

Please make sure that you only submit timecards that reflect hours that can be paid by CISS - not hours that exceed a family's authorization and are privately worked and paid. Families AND Respite Caregivers are both responsible to track all hours worked and available.

***ALL TIMECARDS FOR WORK PERFORMED ON OR BEFORE JUNE 29TH ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 12NOON ON MONDAY, JULY 1ST! Those received after this time will be paid the following pay week. We have one less day to process all payroll due to the holiday. Feel free to send them over to us early if you are done working in this pay period.

If you have any questions on respite balances (i.e. hours still available to be provided through June 30th), please contact the office. Keep in mind that each CISS Respite Caregiver can work up to a maximum of 40 hours/week, regardless of the family's authorized or available hours. Those in our Foster/Kinship Respite program are limited to working up to 9 hours/day and no more than 40/week.

If any respite hours have been worked since last payroll, those hours MUST be deducted from the balance we have on file at CISS to calculate the true available hours.

**MONTHLY STAFF TRAINING**

Date: Wed. 6/26, 6pm-8pm
Dinner served at 5:30pm for those who register. Seating limited to 40.
