 Nothing compares to summer in Sandpoint - where the days are filled with sunshine and fun on Lake Pend Oreille, and evenings come alive with fabulous events under starry skies. Our Fourth of July celebration kicks things off July 4 with morning parades and evening fireworks from City Beach. From there, the fun keeps coming with adventures at Schweitzer, cruises on Lake Pend Oreille, and so much more.

Beer at the beach
Kick back with a cold one while enjoying spectacular Lake Pend Oreille views during the 6th Annual Beerfest from noon to 5  p.m. Saturday, July 13, on the lawn at Trinity at City Beach. Enjoy craft brews and ciders from Sandpoint's four local breweries - Matchwood, Utara, Laughing Dog, and MickDuff's - plus breweries from across the region! Food is catered by Trinity at City Beach, with live music with Tennis, cornhole, beer trivia with prizes, pretzel necklaces, and more! Ready, set, let's ride
Mountain bike trails abound
Check out the numerous mountain biking trails this summer in Sandpoint! Head up to Schweitzer for lift-access biking and over 40 miles of trails. With a wide range of difficulty level, it’s fun for all! Or head across the Long Bridge to Gold Hill where you’ll find incredible views of Lake Pend Oreille. You don’t have to venture far, there are plenty of options right in town. Bike rentals of all kinds are available up at Schweitzer as well as at local bike shops in town, so there’s no reason to miss out on the fun, grab a bike and head out to the trails! Festival's coming up August 1!
 A talked-about lineup of performers and an epic lakeside location create this year's renowned Festival at Sandpoint coming up Aug. 1-11 at Memorial Field. The 37th annual concert series is a one-of-a-kind experience where concertgoers can tote in their own coolers and food - although there is a tempting variety of gourmet fare plus a beer garden once you're inside the gates.
