This is a quick update about 4 events you may be interested in.

FIRST, the NRA is hosting a town hall in Fredericksburg to brief citizens ahead of Governor Ralph Northam's special session on gun control. That event is TODAY, Wednesday, June 26th from 7pm - 8:30pm.

From the NRA-ILA, "Join your Virginia NRA team, including NRA-ILA Virginia State Director, Dr. Christopher Kopacki, Virginia state Senator Bryce Reeves (SD 17), and Delegate Margaret Ransone (HD 99) for a town hall meeting!

Despite his failed gun control agenda being soundly defeated in the 2019 regular legislative session, Governor Ralph Northam has called a special session to once again push for radical gun control in response to the tragic murders in Virginia Beach last month. Of course, as we know, none of the policies Gov. Northam is proposing would have prevented the tragic murders in Virginia Beach, but they will significantly impact the rights of Virginia’s law-abiding gun owners.

Come out to learn more about what to expect in the special session, and how you can fight for your Second Amendment Rights. Pick up your FREE NRA gear and find out more about NRA's efforts in Virginia
." Please RSVP here.*

SECOND, Congressman Rob Wittman will be briefing us tomorrow with an update from Capitol Hill. That's Thursday, June 27th beginning 6:30 pm at the Salem Church Library. Please stick around for our regular scheduled Spotsylvania County Republican Committee meeting that will start at 7:05. The agenda for the meeting is listed here.

THIRD, if you happen to be in the Richmond area Thursday evening instead, please consider attending Delegate John McGuire's Summer BBQ fundraiser. Even if you can't go, please share information about that event on Facebook here.

LASTLY, this Saturday is the Spotsylvania Stars and Stripes Spectacular. The Spotsylvania County Republican Committee will once again have a tent from 3:00 PM till 8:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to introduce voters to our entire Republican ticket, collect donations, hand out yard signs, and distribute literature. We need a few more volunteers to help set up, greet voters, and break down. If you're interested or able to volunteer an hour or two, please let me know by replying to this email.

I hope to see you at one (or all!) of these events over the next 4 days.

Best Regards,

Dustin R. Curtis
